Great Malvern Summer Wedding

Hi there,

Thanks for stopping by! This is my first wedding post here so far, can’t wait to share more but one step at a time. The images that I will be sharing are those I’ve taken working as a second photographer (commonly referred to as a second shooter rather than assistant, plus I get to take lots of photos in a highly pressurised environment). I’ve found that working as a second shooter has given me invaluable experience to a whole new world of photography. This wedding was my second working as a second shooter. My first wedding was July 2013 working with Sam Pommells over at The Ashes, Endon.

Emily and Dan’s wedding ceremony took place at the Holy Trinity Church, in their home town ofGreat Malvern, Worcestershire. After the ceremony, the happy couple held their reception for family and friends at the nearby Fox & Hounds Pub.

I love photography and love weddings so it was only a matter of time before I ventured down this pathway. Also, I’ve been filming weddings since 2009 so I have lots of experience in what goes on working alongside lots of different photographers. My biggest thanks though goes to my Mentors Dave and Emma Nunn who have inspired me and made me the photographer I am today although as a photographer, I’m always learning something new each time I take a photo. Dave and Emma are two people I really enjoy working with and have the greatest respect for as professional wedding photographers. I couldn’t have asked for better training in all honesty. Don’t get me wrong, I knew about photography and have been taking photos since 2013 on a more serious level but my niche has always been with animals!

So here’s my photos which I’ve been allowed to use to show my ever increasing portfolio of of my work:-
