Whit Bank Holiday afternoon out with hubby, Barry to Elvaston Castle Country Park in Derbyshire. It had been many years since my last visit and I certainly didn’t have a camera on me then nor a mobile phone. It’s a very popular place for families to come together playing rounders, cricket, football and enjoy a picnic or a mini barbecue. Armed with my camera, with lots of daffodils and bluebells out, it was a great opportunity to capture the last elements of spring.
Just thought I’d share some more creative shots taken on my visit. Due to the actual castle being restored, it was not possible to fully capture it’s beauty, so instead I concentrated on all that surrounds it. A love;y place to have a few hours of chill out time!
