Tomorrow I’m out doing a wedding and I am trying desperately to keep updating my blog with lots of updates of what I’ve been up to.
Summer 2015 again, this time I was second shooting for Dave Nunn Photography over at the gorgeous Dovecliffe Hall Hotel, near Rolleston-on-Dove, Staffordshire. If there is one thing I love about this venue, is that it caters for exclusive weddings. With it’s gorgeous gardens, is a great plus for any couple looking to get married here. It was my third visit to Dovecliffe Hall. Sally and Tim held their ceremony in the beautiful Orangery followed by a sit down meal and reception in the Hall’s main function suite. Great lighting, lovely venue and a great couple to work with, made this wedding a dream. Dave and I started off photographing the latter part of the bridal preparations taking place in the bridal suite which looks over the Hall’s gardens before heading downstairs to photograph the groom. A perfect day for it.. blue sky, some stunning thunder clouds (it didn’t rain though) and all the flowers were in full bloom. There was though a breeze…can play havoc a little when you’re wearing a veil.
Sally had chosen a Mark Lesley bridal gown which looked stunning on her while the groomsmen scrubbed up well in their grey suits and porting a pink tie. Talk about laughs, I don’t think I’ve worked with a groom that was somewhat a little bit of a comedian and had us in giggles at times. It was a great wedding to be part of and second shoot at. Here is a selection of photos I captured on the day just so you can see my style!
