Leicestershire Wedding – As a Second Shooter (assistant photographer)

Seriously catching up now searching through the archives, clearing hard drive space.   Prior to the last week, I’ve not really had chance to blog much at all.  The purpose of these posts (second shooting) is really to demonstrate my capabilities as a second shooter and of course, how I work at a wedding during more relaxed parts of the day.   This occasion saw me photographing my first ever groom preparation documenting the morning before leaving to get to the church.  For this wedding I was working for the lovely Chris Bunce.

The couple were married at The Sacred Heart RC Church in Leicester in a lovely ceremony to celebrate their union.  Once married they held their reception at the Royal Arms Hotel, Sutton Cheney in Warwickshire.  A lovely warm welcoming pub/hotel with a raging log fire just the thing you need for an Autumn wedding when there is a slight chill in the air.  The bride arrived in true style to the Church in a friend’s red Ferrari not your usual wedding car for the bride!  It truly was a lovely day and I thoroughly enjoyed working alongside Chris and here is my selection of images containing lots of candid moments especially during the speeches as I was there to photograph guest reactions rather than the speakers themselves.
