Deer at Bradgate Park, Leicestershire

Hello, thought I’d share a different insight to my photography today.  This is more my hobby as I’m certainly no wildlife photographer but it does interest me, I just don’t have the time or knowledge to get out there but 2017, I’m going to give it a try once Spring is here.  I plan on going Osprey watching, visiting The Trossachs and Loch Lomond and tour the Highlands in Autumn.

This was autumn 2015…. see I’m still going through my 2015 archives of non blogged stuff!  It’s been great having a catch-up during downtime.  I and a few friends headed off to Bradgate Park, Leicestershire (the ancestral home of Lady Jane Grey – 9 Day Queen) for 7.30am to try and get some good ole rutting shots, sadly, lots of bellowing but no visible rutting.  Still it’s a great park to visit, see the deer and other wildlife, walk around then have breakfast and a cup of tea.    The cake is good too :).  Here is a small selection of my images taken that morning before heading home around lunchtime.
