I did lots of second shooting during 2016 and it’s something I love plus it’s a main source of income for me! It was another wedding working with Dave Nunn once again! The sun was shining it was just a beautiful May day. So off we went to do the bridal preparations in Newhall, near my home town of Swadlincote. It was nice photographing a local wedding! After the prep, we headed off to St Margaret’s Church in Blackfordby. A little surprise for the happy couple, their British Bull Dog made an appearance, he was so cute and well behaved and being a huge lover of dogs, I had to get a few snaps. The groom, a former Paratrooper sported his turning out uniform with friends from the para’s also attending and wearing their military uniforms. The bride looked stunning in her wedding dress as did her bridesmaids and rather cute flower girls.
After the ceremony it was off to Packington Moor for the reception for all family and friends to simply wind down, enjoy the sunshine and dance the night away. I love Packington Moor Farm – the private gardens for photos are just lovely. Rustic doors and brick barns make it perfect for a wedding! I am so looking forward to the wedding I will be photographing there this coming September!
