Peckforton Castle – Second Shooting

First time at this rather magnificent venue up in Cheshire last year, in a little village known as Tarporley, standing very high on a hill, Peckforton Castle.  I was once again working on with Dave Nunn, a contemporary wedding photographer.  The day began with the bridal preparations before leaving the bride to catch up with the groom at the local pub in Bunbury!  The couple were getting married at St Boniface Church in the village of Bunbury.  The vicar, Rev Tim Hayward was the nicest and friendliest bloke I’ve ever encountered, plus he drove a Land Rover Defender which I was mightily impressed by as I love the Defender.  The ceremony was really lovely.  After confetti the wedding party enjoyed chilling out with Pimms and beer in the sunshine at the castle before heading in to the wedding breakfast for dinner and then onto the first dance.

The bride looked gorgeous in her gown and her bridesmaids sported Lime Green dresses with bright floral bouquets.  The groomsmen all complemented the look with dark blue suits, Lime Green ties and bright buttonholes.  The whole theme complimented the day with the sun shining, a whole lot of love and lots of laughter!  Look at for the Peacock on the Land Rover 🙂 before it takes a flying dive!

As a second shooter, I’m there to document the day from alternative angles as well as concentrate on candid stuff.  I love second shooting!  Here is a selection of photos I took on the day… my take on the day!
