Back in the Spring I attended a Bridal workshop hosted by Crash Taylor at the stunning Prestwold Hall in Leicestershire. As soon as you enter through the door you will amazed of how beautiful this place is. The gardens are stunning and the Great Hall will just take your breath away! It truly is a beautiful setting.
I hadn’t really been photographing weddings that long, full time when I went on this workshop. Being quiet new, I hadn’t really adopted a style at this point as I was still finding my feet. The thought of other people watching and observing me, was at times quite nerve-racking but I managed! Working with other delegates we each took it in turns using lighting be it natural or GL Light, the various rooms in the house, the gardens and working in low light taking photos of the beautiful model, Greta. It was a fun day despite my apprehension. Loved the haziness of spring outside for the garden shots!
Greta’s make up was done by Nottingham based make up artist Rochelle O’Brien.
Sadly it seems I have lost my other notes as to the rest of the suppliers on the shoot and for that I’m unable to tag them in this post. Everything was just spot on and both bridal gowns that Greta got to wear were just beautiful.
So really the purpose of this short and sweet blog post was to simply share my collection of edited images taken from that workshop at Prestwold Hall. I do love to capture natural moments and non-overly posey images. Every bride loves to see her dress and all the little details that go with it. If you’re getting married at Prestwold Hall and looking for a more documentary/reportage wedding photographer, then please do get in touch.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog and please do come back soon!
