Spring Dog Photoshoot – Bluebells, Derbyshire

Spring is almost upon us and the springtime flowers have started to peek.  Today, I thought I would share a photoshoot I did last spring, I have a few to blog.

Maggie, the black Labrador is the perfect model for a photoshoot.  Her pretty looks, charming personality and somewhat mischievous antics from time to time make her one of the loveliest dogs I’ve ever photographed in the few years I have been photographing dogs.  Please don’t get me wrong I photograph a lot of beautiful dogs that all have the wonderful quirks and charming personalities. I love them all!

One spring afternoon we went off into the woods locally to explore and couldn’t help but notice that the spring Bluebells were out.  Being extremely careful as not to damage the Bluebells we made ourselves comfortable for just a few photos.  Maggie’s stunning coat against that colourful backdrop was just perfect!

I think the stick is a little oversized for you Maggie. The one below is much better!
