A birthday photoshoot gift voucher was purchased for Megan’s 21st birthday via one of my past clients. I can honestly say that it is always so lovely receiving repeat business as a photographer. I love the fact that my clients have enjoyed their photoshoot experience and go onto either referring me to their friends or buying photoshoot gift vouchers for family members/close friends long down the line.

Boris

A very handsome Piebold cob who is full of character and has the most beautiful mane and feathers which his owner, Megan keeps immaculate. Boris loves showing, jumping and cross-country. Just look at that mane, isn’t it just fabulous?

Megan & Boris’ Photoshoot

Typically a photoshoot experience allows up to 2 hours and includes outfit changes and a little break. We began Megan’s session with a more casual look in jeans, t-shirt and finished off with long riding style boots. We then headed out of the yard to a nearby track with many a path one of which led onto a pond and some woodland.

Back at the yard, Megan changed into her prom dress and we utilised the yard fields as these were so pretty, plus Megan just wanted to get onboard Boris for some casual ridden shots. Once these were done we did a little bit of liberty with Boris before finishing off with some walking and cuddle shots. How amazing does Megan look? It was such a great photoshoot.

A photoshoot for me should tell a story that showcases the bond and connection you have with your horse. I’m always open though to ridden parts and will often end a session with this and add some at liberty. The liberty session really showcases your horse’s stature and personality. They get to be themselves for 10 mins or so and some really do enjoy having blast around the field or menage.
